Lesbos: Greek police take migrants to new camp after Moria fire – BBC News
On the Greek island of Lesbos, police are transporting thousands of migrants and refugees to a new tent near the Moria camp gutted by fire. Seventy women dressed in protective clothing went to take the women and children temporarily to the Kara Tepe camp. Four Afghan asylum seekers were blamed for the fire that destroyed Moria last Wednesday. A government official said 1,800 people went to Kara Tepe early Thursday. But many migrants and refugees remain eager to stay in Lesbos because Moria was crowded and rude. They hope to move to other parts of Europe, especially Germany. #BBCOS #BBCOutsideSource Please subscribe HERE .
