Santa Clara County Opens Free Walkup Influenza Vaccination Clinic
Santa Clara County, CA (KRON) —Before the peak of the flu season, Santa Clara County opened a free walk-up flu immunization clinic on Saturday.
And 100 people were already waiting in line before the door opened in San Jose.
By noon, 400 people had been vaccinated against the flu at the Santa Clara County Trade Fair in San Jose.
“I work all week — I’m busy all week,” said Andrew Smith. “So it was good to go on Saturday and not get in the way.”
The free walk-up clinic, which opened on Saturday, will run until autumn.
Every Saturday from 9am to 4pm
“Health, not just me, is very important to me, but I have a nephew who wants to take care of me,” Elizabeth said. “Similarly, I have high-risk people who want to make sure they are safe and protected.”

The county states that anyone over the age of three will be eligible for the shot, regardless of immigrant status.

The COVID-19 test site is also opposite the trade fair.
The couple was tested for one virus and vaccinated with another virus within an hour.
