Senator Kamala Harris’ Welcome Home event is designed to support the Biden Victory Fund, which was designed by Merchants Exchange (and Nob Hill Gazette owner) Clint Riley, which turns out to be a bonus for receiving a Democratic Party card.

The event was real for the California Democrats, the heavyweight local, and a constellation of stars including Dagmar, Natasha and David Dolby, the Shorenstein family, former Harris campaign manager Ace Smith and his wife Laura Talmus, Salesforce Co-founder Parker Harris, and the Buck Heights couple Influence Julie and Greg Flynn, another Planet producer Greg Pirlo, megawatt attorney Stephen Kay, former Paramount Pictures CEO Sherry Lansing, Oscar-winning husband Billy Friedkin, money manager John Austeroys, Susan Hirsch, and Susan Lyell are an amazing array of Harris fan groups.

It was a very big tent, and it had to be virtual.
