Director Chris Fenton Prepares Book on Hollywood and China’s Union – Variety
Chris Fenton, a longtime Hollywood executive who witnessed and witnessed the birth of the mega-rich marriage between Hollywood and China, is expected to publish a revealing book on the process.

Currently CEO of a company called Media Capital Technologies, Fenton's experience goes beyond infrastructure and operations. He hosted delegations from the United States Congress on diplomatic missions to China focused on trade, media and investment. He is a director of the United States-Asia Institute and sits on several corporate boards.
The book, dedicated to his late Hollywood consultant and producer JC Spink, will examine the complex addiction shared by the American media and the booming Chinese market. The book sounds particularly timely because the spread of the coronavirus will lead to the loss of billions of dollars at the Chinese box office, in the face of a turbulent commercial relationship between the continent and the Trump administration.
