ISLAMABAD: The process of voluntary repatriation of Afghan refugees to their country has resumed after a three-month hiatus.
Spokesman for the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) Qaiser Afridi, in a conversation with media representatives in Peshawar, said on Monday that repatriation will continue for the next nine months.

He said two centers have been established in Nowshera and Quetta for the voluntary repatriation of Afghan refugees, Radio Pakistan reported.
The spokesman said that at the time, around 1.4 million Afghan refugees were living in different cities of Pakistan.
He said that voluntary returnees of Afghan refugees will each receive $ 200 in Kandahar, Nangarhar and Kabul.
