A Pakistani court has upheld former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s 10-year prison sentence for corruption involving four luxury flats in London.

The National Accounts Office (NAB) issued a ruling after several delays.

Her daughter Maryam Nawaz Sharif received a seven-year sentence, and her son, Safdar Awan, received a one-year sentence.

Nawaz Sharif said the charges are politically motivated.

He and his daughter are in London, where Sharif’s wife, Kulsoom Nawaz, is undergoing cancer treatment.
