Women in Saudi Arabia were allowed to drive

Saudi Arabia held a celebration that women could drive after the world’s first ban. They described it as a historical moment. Eventually, they repealed the terrible repression symbol. In spite of the euphoria, some women activists who have campaigned for a ban on driving are still in prison.
