22 coronaviruses killed in Birmingham and Midland-including 5 in one municipal hospital trust

Today, 22 more Covid-19s have died in Birmingham and Midlands. This includes 5 people at one Birmingham Hospital.

The University Hospital Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust has recorded deaths from five new coronaviruses.

The Nottingham University Hospital NHS Trust has confirmed the deaths of five more Covid-19s.

Four deaths were recorded at a university hospital in the North Midlands NHS Trust.

Two deaths were recorded at both the Sandwell and West Birmingham NHS Trusts, and the Derby University Hospital and the Burton NHS Foundation Trust.

Other deaths have occurred at Chesterfield Royal Hospital, Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital, and the Dudley Group NHS Foundation Trust.

The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust has also confirmed further deaths.

The death toll in the UK has increased by 103 today. The Ministry of Health announced that there were five more Covid-19-related deaths and 727 new cases of the virus during the last 24-hour reporting period in Northern Ireland.

The death toll recorded by the department is currently 658.

In Northern Ireland, there are 34,832 confirmed cases, including 6,828 in the last 7 days.

Currently, 342 Covid-19 patients are being treated in the hospital and 39 are in the intensive care unit.

Scotland has recorded one death from the coronavirus and 1,122 positive tests in the last 24 hours, Nicola Sturgeon said.

The prime minister said the Scottish government’s coronavirus explained the death toll under this measure-the number of people who were first positive for the virus within the last 28 days-has risen to 2,701.

Ms. Sturgeon said that in Scotland, 57,874 people tested positive, up from 56,752 the day before.

The daily test positive rate is 7.1%, down from 7.9% the day before.

Of the new cases, 428 are in Greater Glasgow and Clyde, 274 are in Lanarkshire, 105 are in Lothian, and 97 are in Airshire and Alan.

It has been confirmed that 1,052 people are infected with the virus in the hospital, and the number has increased by 36 in 24 hours.

Of these patients, 90 are in the intensive care unit, an increase of four.
