Sporting Kansas City ended a regular season of 2020 which can be described as slightly bipolar. There were times when they looked like the best team in the league. Score forecast

Earthquakes are steadily improving this season. They have won six of the last 10 (6-3-1) and made their way to the final round after sitting at Bottom West for a while earlier in the season.

Plus, it’s one game with two weeks of rest between games. Add to that there is a distinct possibility that Sporting KC was without Alain Bollido whose initial diagnosis of injury seemed to have him on track to be back now (or shortly thereafter), even though Vermes was calling it week after week. Add to that quarantine of everyone on the team who got COVID (Gadi Kinda or Wilson Harris were new additions to the infection report that week), and the team might be a bit short-handed. Nearly 18 days it looks like Vermes is saying that COVID-positive players must have arrived in time.

What it all comes down to, regardless of discharge, injuries, absences or opponents, is that good teams must win the playoff matches. Especially at home. Especially when you are the only seed against the last.
