Parsons has been awarded a four-year contract worth $ 37 million by the Southwest Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC SW) to support rebuilding efforts at the China Lake Naval Air Weapons Station, the company said Thursday.

Under the contract, Parsons will provide programmatic, technical, risk, and construction management services to support ongoing earthquake recovery efforts, which are part of NAVFAC’s $ 2.5 billion earthquake recovery program in Lake China, after the magnitude 7.1 earthquake in July 2019.

The earthquake caused operations to continue at reduced capacity until the earthquake recovery efforts such as construction and repairs were completed.
