The United States Geological Survey (USGS) reported a 3.3-magnitude earthquake in the United States near Honaunau-Napoopoo, Hawaii County, Hawaii, just 4 minutes ago. The earthquake struck early on Saturday morning, December 5, 2020 at 3.26 am local time at a very shallow depth of 2.3 miles. The exact size, focus and depth of an earthquake may be reviewed within the next few hours or minutes as seismologists review data and improve their calculations, or when other agencies release their reports.
