Levine says vaccination will begin next week at a nursing home in Pennsylvania | Local News
More than 17,000 healthcare workers have been vaccinated for the first time with the coronavirus vaccine since last week, and residents and staff of skilled nursing facilities in the state will be vaccinated starting next week.
Dr. Rachel Levin, director of health at Pennsylvania, said at a press conference Monday morning that the vaccine produced by Pfizer would be available at the facility through a partnership between the federal government and the pharmacy chain CVS and Walgreens. This form allows public health professionals to contact individuals in close contact with an infected person.
Throughout Pennsylvania, there are 230 case investigators performing contact tracing for infected persons under the age of 19 and over the age of 64.
