British White Christmas in snow before Storm Bella hits | UK news

Early morning snowfall was recorded in some parts of England, and the Met Office declared it a White Christmas.

As of 5 am on Christmas Day, snow has been reported in Leconfield in Humberside and Wattisham in Suffolk.

The Meteorological Office said it would likely be sunny and dry on Christmas days in most cases, but the showers in eastern England are likely to bring sleet or snow in the morning.
