Higher red blood cell transfusion levels may be dangerous for premature babies-fitness
A randomized clinical trial led by researchers at George Mason University examined blood transfusions in premature babies and their long-term effects.
This study, published in The New England Journal of Medicine, is the largest study to date to compare transfusion thresholds in premature babies.
