Happy Animal Crossing: New Horizons month! The long-awaited city-building simulation will arrive on Nintendo Switch on March 20, ending the eight-year drought between it and the latest main game in the series, Animal Crossing: New Leaf. New Horizons is certainly one of the biggest Switch games of 2020, and Nintendo will do it all with Animal Crossing merchandise. Controllers, carrying cases, stuffed animals, Amiibo – you name it. We have put together all of your options to show your love for Animal Crossing. There's even a New Horizons Switch console that could be the cutest Nintendo console ever.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons Switch console | $ 300

The Animal Crossing Switch console is a beauty. It comes with an exclusive pair of Joy-Con, a dock with Tom Nook and the Nooklings, and a back panel decorated with tiny silhouettes of characters, trees, boats, etc., all perfectly dispersed across the Island. If you have a Switch launch model, you may be happy to learn that the Animal Crossing switch comes with the upgraded battery. The launch model has a range of 2.5 to 6.5 hours, while the updated model has a range of 4.5 to 9 hours.

The console of the special edition is released on March 13, a week before the launch of New Horizons. However, it doesn't come with a copy of the game. The Joy-Cons and Switch docking station will be sold separately in Japan, but Nintendo has not announced plans to release it individually in the United States.

The Animal Crossing Switch is currently out of stock at all major retailers, but may return to stock in limited quantities before release. You can consult the lists for the switch at each retailer below.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons pre-order bonus

Of course, if you haven't pre-ordered the game itself yet, you can still do it at any major retailer. Target offered a nice Animal Crossing newspaper with game pre-orders, but it sold twice. That said, there is always a chance that more journals will be available before launch (this has happened once). The Best Buy pre-order bonus, a Tom Nook sticker badge that can be placed on phones, laptops and other technology, has also been sold. Online pre-orders at Walmart included a Tom Nook tote bag, but yes, you guessed it, the bonus has since run out. GameStop offers two-sided posters as a pre-order bonus.

Best Buy sells the game with an adorable little bag inspired by Tom Nook's Bell bag. The package costs $ 65, so you only pay five dollars for the pretty bag (as opposed to $ 20 per bag costs by himself).

Animal Crossing: New Horizons Official Companion Guide | $ 18

Animal Crossing is not a game for which you need a traditional walkthrough, because the game never ends. But the official New Horizons companion guide will tell you everything you need to know about the island, including a catalog of all the items you can buy, find and create. The 432-page paperback is out on April 9 and is available for pre-order on Amazon for $ 18.

Power A Enhanced Wireless Controllers | $ 50

These Power A Animal Crossing Switch Wireless Controllers are adorable alternatives to the Pro Controller. You can choose between a K.K. Cursor or Nooklings design. Each controller is a nice shade of green and has a motif on the theme of Animal Crossing. The Nooklings design is sold out at the moment, but you can still get the K.K. Slider design at Best Buy.

Power A wireless controllers look and feel great, but they don't work in exactly the same way as the Pro controller. They use AA batteries for power and have no Amiibo NFC holder or vibration. They do however have a pair of additional triggers on the back which can be programmed on the fly. Both models will be released on March 10, so you can use them to play on launch day.

Nintendo Switch console skin | $ 20

Maybe you don't want (or can't) spend money on the Animal Crossing switch, but you still want your console to watch the game. These officially licensed Controller Gear skins complement your console, dock and Joy-Cons with Animal Crossing designs. Three Tom Nook models are available, each of them featuring Tom Nook and / or Timmy and Tommy Nook. Each skin also comes with a screen protector.

Nintendo Switch Lite console skins | $ 10

Nintendo Switch Lite owners won't feel left out with Controller Gear console skins. There are three models to choose from – Outdoor, Timmy and Tommy and Woodtone – each being $ 10 (the outer skin is currently listed for $ 8, however).

Animal Crossing Amiibo

Nintendo showcased Amiibo's support for New Horizons in its live animal-focused presentation. Digitizing Amiibos while playing New Horizons allows you to invite characters to your campsite. A separate mode called Photopia allows you to organize your figures and dress them up for a photo shoot.

There are currently 16 Animal Crossing Amiibo figures available for purchase, most of which are released around the same time as Animal Crossing: Festival Amiibo for Wii U. Unlike some Amiibo older, you can still find most at very attractive prices. In fact, the majority of them are available at a price lower than their outlet price. New Horizons also supports Amiibo cards and offers the same benefits as figurines. Although it doesn't really feature items like the ordinary Amiibos, there are many more cards, each of which displays one of the cheerful inhabitants of the Animal Crossing universe. Amiibo cards were released in four waves, and each pack includes six Amiibo cards.

This Isabelle Nendoroid is probably the cutest Animal Crossing product you can buy. The popular Good Smile Nendoroid figures come with many accessories and a stand. Isabelle is delivered with musical notes which are fixed on the support, a clipboard and a pen. The only downside here is the price. This Isabelle Nendoroid costs $ 85. the winter version is even more expensive and more difficult to find.

A wide assortment of Isabelle plushies can be found from a quick search. But I must say that a good number of them are far from excellent. This Isabelle plush is almost perfect. You can order now, but it will cost you a significant increase over its original price. However, he is eligible for Prime.

GameStop will have Animal Crossing plushies in stock on March 20, including the Isabelle plush pictured above, for $ 15 each. Unfortunately, you will not be able to choose the stuffed toy you get when ordering online; GameStop will randomly send you one from the assortment.

Tom Nook Plush | $ 20.37

When I looked at this Tom Nook plush for the first time, I winced. It is not cute. But then I looked at Tom Nook again and remembered that he was not cute anyway. He is a diligent but tired raccoon who wants you to reimburse him for these renovations. Tom Nook Plush can look at you in dismay whenever you are about to buy something you don't need online (not counting this plush). It is currently sold out, but should be back in stock soon.

K.K. The slider is obviously the coolest character in Animal Crossing, and this plush is further proof of that. Not only is he wearing a stylish hat and sophisticated glasses, but his headphones are draped casually around his neck as he scratches the record with his tiny paw.

This Animal Crossing themed mug shows your appreciation for the raccoon that makes all your dreams come true. Is Tom Nook a design expert? That's to be discussed, but it's all we have to help us make a house big enough to satisfy our hoarding desires. Currently, orders will not be shipped until March 3, but that should still be enough to sip this cup while you play New Horizons.
