The Middlesex-London Health Unit reported 40 new COVID-19 cases over the weekend, bringing the total number of known active cases in the region to a maximum of 166.
There were 21 cases on Saturday and 19 cases on Sunday in the area, with no new deaths.
There have been 6,080 recovery since the follow-up began over a year ago.
The Health Unit is still waiting for the results of 27 confirmed positive mutant cases.The other four were determined to be the first variants identified in the UK
According to the London Health Science Center, an outbreak of COVID-19 was declared on Friday in a unit on the 4th floor of a university hospital, with less than 5 patients positive.

Across the state, 1,747 COVID-19 outbreaks occurred on Friday, killing an additional 15 people.
Health Minister Christine Elliott said Sunday’s numbers swelled due to data errors in the state’s system.
“The case looks higher than usual because of a data error,” Elliott said at a press conference on Sunday. “Actually, we expect to reduce hundreds of cases.”
The state booking system and support desk are set to operate at 8 am on Mondays. People over the age of 80 are eligible to make an appointment to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.
