Zimbabwe crisis: Mugabe makes first public appearance – BBC News

Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe has made the first outbreak since taking over the country’s army on Wednesday.
He attended the graduation ceremony in the capital, Harare.
Mr Mugabe was detained at home. The army advanced after the power struggle against its successor.
The military said on Friday it was “committed” to Mr Mugabe and would advise the public on the outcome of the talks “as soon as possible”.
Christopher Mutsvangwa, leader of the War Veterans Association, said Mr Mugabe should step back immediately.
