Former President George W Bush, the son of Bush Sr., began his tribute by talking about his father’s life.

“I once heard of men saying that the idea is to kill them as soon as possible.”

“At the age of 85, George HW Bush’s favorite hobby was shooting his Fidelity ship and opening three 300-horsepower engines to keep him flying with the Secret Service ships across the Atlantic.”

“At the age of 90, George H W Bush jumped from an airplane and landed at St Ann’s Field [Church] by sea in Kennebunkport, Maine. ”

Young Bush added: “Mother liked the location, if not the shit.”

“Dad could relate to people from all walks of life. He was an empathetic man. He valued the character in addition to pedigree and was not cynical. He was looking for the good of each person and usually found it.”

Bush Jr. said his father taught him that public service was noble and necessary.

“He strongly believed that it was important to give back to the community and to the country … he acknowledged that serving others enriched the soul.” .
