Myanmar coup: World leaders condemn wild military repression

Protesters against the coup have returned to the streets across Myanmar – despite the bloodshed yesterday when security forces shot dead more than a hundred people. In one village, forces fired on the dead at the funeral of a student who was among the dead. Leaders around the world have condemned the brutal crackdown – including U.S. Secretary of State Anthony Blink – and said Burmese citizens had rejected the army’s “reign of terror.” One caveat – there are disturbing footage in this report.
