Down boy! Boris Johnson does his best to stop Dilyn from going after geese during morning run as lockout restrictions are relaxed on Happy Monday

- Mr Johnson has been doing physical training since his serious battle with Covid last year
- He was seen jogging as some lockdown restrictions were relaxed in England today.
Boris Johnson could be ahead in the opinion polls, but he was forced to hold on to a very different kind of lead this morning.
The Prime Minister, 56, was seen keeping his dog Dilyn in tow during a race in London earlier today.
The excitable Jack Russell cross was pictured hunting geese as the Tory leader sweated in one of the capital’s parks.
Mr Johnson, who recently announced that he lost a stone running and giving up cheese ‘late at night’, has been working out since his battle with Covid last year.
He admitted that “ I was too fat ” after the fear of Covid which led him to hospital – and later to intensive care – with the virus last April.
The Prime Minister was pictured running this morning as some lockdown measures were relaxed in England today – on what is dubbed ‘Happy Monday’.
As of today, up to six people, or two complete households, are allowed to gather outdoors, including in the back gardens, for the first time in four months.
The Prime Minister was seen keeping his dog Dilyn on a tight leash during a run in London earlier today – as the Jack Russell crossbreed preyed on Egyptian geese.

The government’s “stay home” rule has been replaced with “stay local” while its new mantra is now: “Hands, face, space and fresh air”.
Speaking of the easing of restrictions in a video speech, Mr Johnson, who last week held a six point advantage over Labor Sir Keir Starmer in Opinium’s net approval ratings survey, wished the country “good luck”.
He said he knew ‘how hard it has been to be separated from your teammates and coaches and the sports you love’.
However, people are still urged not to kiss friends and family despite half the population having their first case of the bite and Covid at the lowest level since last summer.
While restrictions were lifted earlier today, Peak District cycling clubs were seen at midnight, while swimmers were seen doing laps before dawn.
Golf courses also got busy at 6 a.m., with beach lines winding around parking lots across the country.
In more good news, the country is now ready for a three-day spring heat wave with temperatures hitting 70F (21C) this afternoon and 76F (24C) tomorrow and Wednesday.
The Rule of Six takes effect today – so early morning wild swimmers take a moment to all hold hands at Seaburn Beach in Sunderland at sunrise this morning.
Commuters at a busy Canning Town tube station on the Jubilee Line in London today as the ‘stay home’ warning was dropped
It marks the first major loosening of the rules since England’s third severe lockdown took effect in January.
The only other regulatory easing came on March 8, when all pupils and students returned to schools and colleges across England.
As Britain now crosses the 30 million vaccine mark given – and cases have dropped by a third in just one week – the government is under increasing pressure to speed up the easing of lockdown rules.
TV Doctor Hilary Jones will lead the government’s “Safe Take This Next Step” campaign, which will air on TV and radio starting tonight.
It will encourage people to remember a new “Hands, face, space and fresh air” message and resist the temptation to kiss those who are not in the same household or in the same bubble.

Unlike physical insurance agencies, websites don't have a specific schedule and they are available at any time. Drivers that have busy working schedules, can compare quotes from anywhere and at any time, even at midnight. Multiple choices. Almost all insurance providers, no matter if they are well-known brands or just local insurers, have an online presence. Drivers are no longer required to get quotes from just a few known insurance companies. Also, local and regional insurers can provide lower insurance rates for the same services. Accurate insurance estimates. Online quotes can only be accurate if the customers provide accurate and real info about their car models and driving history. Lying about past driving incidents can make the price estimates to be lower, but when dealing with an insurance company lying to them is useless.
