Trump is not with Fauci in the ability to test the U.S.
President Donald Trump has said he disagrees with Dr. Anthony Fauci, the nation’s top expert on infectious diseases, saying the U.S. needs to “significantly increase” the tests.
“We definitely need to significantly increase not only the number of tests, but also the ability to actually do it,” Faucik said in an interview with Time 100 Talks.
He went on to say, “You don’t have to do a test, but you can’t do it with a sword, because there’s no extraction or it’s not the right vessel. They’ve got all these things. To stay in place.”
“I’m still not too confident this time around, what we need for that,” Fauci added.
In Thursday’s coronavirus group news, when Fauci was absent, Trump corrected Fauci’s remarks and believes the country is doing a “great job”.
“I don’t agree with him, no. I think we’re doing a very good job,” Trump said.
