Shots fired a man on London Bridge – BBC News

Several people are believed to have been injured in a crash on the London Bridge, police said.

Met said a man was shot by police and was treating the incident “as it relates to terrorism.”

Earlier, the force said it had arrested a man. The London Ambulance Service said it was an “important event”.

The BBC’s John McManus, on the scene, said he saw a group of men in a fight on the bridge. Police then arrived and fired shots, he said.

The British Transport Police said London Bridge station was currently closed and no trains would stop.

Police on the ground advised people on the scene to follow orders.
