Two RSA conference participants test positive for coronavirus
Hacking and other security issues were the themes of this year's RSA conference, but it is a new type of virus that may be remembered from the conference: it turns out that at least two conference participants were infected with the coronavirus.
The COVID-19 cases are not exactly new at this point, but the interesting part is that the two people diagnosed may have been infected during the conference or infected others, although the organizers of the conference don't say it exactly.

However, the COVID-19 incubation period can be up to 27 days, althoughmore typicallyit is two to 14 days. The RSA conference continued despite concerns over the spread of coronaviruses.
To be fair, the number of contagions in the United States was lower when the conference was held, but other conferences canceled around the same time. It is not clear whether there is legal liability.
The two confirmed cases of RSA coronavirus are employees of security intelligence Exabeam Inc. The company said on Twitter that he is unable to confirm whether their employees contracted the virus during the RSA conference, but warned anyone in contact with their staff to be vigilant in monitoring symptoms.
The spread of COVID-19 continues to dominate the news, including the technology industry. Meanwhile, more tech companies are taking extra precautions for employees. Today, Google would have told employees to work from home until April 10 at least. Google also ad a new fund to allow temporary workers with symptoms or quarantine to take paid sick leave.
