This airline needs a face shield to fly
As part of the Qatar Airways health and safety measures update, the airline will now require passengers to wear a face shield in addition to a mask throughout their flight.
The carrier will provide free face shields to all passengers in two standard sizes, one for adults and one for children. Shields will be distributed at boarding gates in all destinations served by the airline.

Economy travelers of Qatar Airways will be obliged to keep their shields and masks on the entire flight, except when meals or drinks are served. On the other hand, Business Class customers are invited to wear them at their discretion, as they benefit from more space and privacy.

During boarding and disembarking, all passengers will be required to wear their face masks and shields. Children under the age of two are not required to wear shields and masks.

Once passengers board their Qatar Airways flight, they will receive a protective kit containing a disposable surgical mask, disposable gloves and hand sanitizer gel. Business class customers will also be offered an additional tube of disinfectant gel.
As for the flight crew, the airline has introduced new disposable protective gowns fitted to their uniforms, in addition to safety glasses, gloves and a mask.
