Centrica named one of The Times' 50 Best Employers for Gender Equality in 2024

Centrica has been named a Top 50 Employer for Gender Equality by The Times, for its commitment to gender equality in the workplace.

The ranking includes some of the UK's largest employers, recognizing those who are integrating gender equality into their business strategy at all levels. Gender inequality is still prevalent in many UK workplaces and can be exacerbated by periods of economic disruption, such as the global Covid-19 pandemic.

The criteria for inclusion in the list are wide-ranging and include a proactive approach to eliminating inequalities. Applicants were assessed on their policies, such as their approach to flexible working, family support, pay, reward and career progression.
