Kenmare Resources plc (LSE: KMR, ISE: KMR), one of the world’s leading producers of titanium and zircon minerals, announces that Elizabeth Headon is stepping down as non-executive director of Kenmare Resources plc. The Company applies a nine-year guideline and, as expected, Elizabeth will not stand for re-election at the 2020 Annual General Meeting. She is retiring from the board of directors of the Company effective January 13 May 2020.

Commenting on the changes to the board, Steven McTiernan, president of Kenmare, said:

On behalf of the entire board of directors, I would like to thank Elizabeth for her support, valuable knowledge and expertise as a senior independent director. During her nine years on the board, she played an important role in overseeing the development of Kenmares into an established mineral sands producer.
