Rakul Preet’s Unrealized Dream in Bollywood

Rakul Preet Singh is an actress based in the south. She made her Bollywood debut with the film Yaarian in 2014, but it remained a flop. After that, she focused only on Tamil and Telugu projects. In 2019, she brought back her B-Town with the 2018 film Aiyaary. Later she worked for De De Pyaar De and Marjaavan. Currently, Rakul is busy with quite a few projects in Bollywood as well as in the South Indian film industries.

Although she has made a handful of films in Hindi, there is an unfulfilled desire for the Dhruva actress in Bollywood. She says she hasn’t made a typical naach-gaana movie in Hindi yet and wants to do it soon. In an interview with The Times of India, Rakul said she stopped thinking about language barriers now. She feels that there are no more borders and that the actors cross everywhere. She wants to balance both content-driven films and commercial cauldrons.

Rakul added that she won’t have a hard time balancing the different film industries as she is a workaholic. Currently, Rakul is busy with Hindi projects like Attack, Mayday, and Thank God. In Telugu, she will then be seen in Krish Jagarlamudi-Panja Vaishnav Tej’s film.
