Katy Perry has announced the launch of Katy Perry NFTs for her fans around the world.
Hitmaker “Roar” has teamed up with Theta Network to create the non-fungible tokens that will celebrate her “Play” residency which will take place at the brand new Resorts World Las Vegas from December 2021.
As part of the partnership with Theta Network, Katy will also acquire a minority stake in Theta Labs, alongside her artistic agency Creative Artists Agency (CAA).
Revealing his NFT project, the pop superstar said, “I am both excited and curious to launch my very first NFTs later this year with Theta Network.
It’s a new and unique opportunity to connect with my fans around the world, even if they’re not with me in Las Vegas. I can’t wait to dive with the Theta team on all the exciting and memorable creative pieces, so my fans can make a special moment of my residency their own, both a digital collector’s item and an IRL experience.
This is the very first residence in Las Vegas to feature exclusive NFTs commemorating the events, making it a one-of-a-kind collector’s item for fans around the world.
