What's new on Netflix this week (March 9 – March 15)
Welcome to your weekly snapshot of what you’re looking forward to on Netflix this week. This list will include an expanded list of what's heading to Netflix from March 9 to 15, 2020.
There's still a lot to wait on Netflix as the middle of the month approaches. In fact, we have just seen several new titles (some appear in this list) which are scheduled to be released.
As always, there may be more unannounced titles that make their way onto Netflix that are not announced in advance.
On My Block (Season 3)
Arrives on Netflix: Wednesday March 11
In this teen series, we follow a group of street savvy teenagers who have gone through hell in the past two seasons.
The third season will see many new challenges for the gang.
The good news is that the future looks bright for On My Block on Netflix, the showrunner having just signed an exit agreement with Netflix.
The assignment (2017)
Arrives on Netflix: Sunday March 15
On Sunday, Netflix will release a few movies, including Aftermath and Dean, but the highlight we wanted to bring up in this list is The Assignment.
The film stars Michelle Rodriguez and Sigourney Weaver and tells of the sex change in Michelle's character as punishment for killing a beloved doctor. The film was absolutely ransacked by critics when it was released four years ago, but we can't wait to see it.
Last ferry (2019)
Arrives on Netflix: Wednesday March 11
On Wednesday, we will see Last Ferry joining Netflix. It is a thriller about a young lawyer who becomes a witness to a crime when he moves to Fire Island. The reviews for this track are excellent and should no doubt be on the list of all moviegoers this week.
