Schenectady’s wife stole more than $ 3,000 in merchandise from Clifton Park Boscov on Friday – The Daily Gazette
CLIFTON PARK – A woman from Schenectady stole more than $ 3,000 in merchandise on Friday from Boscov’s in Clifton Park, state police said on Monday.
Tasha M. Savage, 39, of Schenectady, has been arrested and charged with third degree robbery and other charges, soldiers said.

State police responded to the Boscov just before 2:30 p.m. Friday with a shoplifting report, state police said. Savage is accused of taking more than $ 3,000 worth of merchandise from the store without paying for it, soldiers said.
The responding patrols took Savage into custody and took her away for treatment. She was later found in possession of a small amount of cocaine and a glass bag of heroin, state police said. She was then seen by soldiers trying to tear up two more bags she had hidden, state police said.
In connection with the drugs allegedly found, Savage has been charged with tampering with physical evidence, a felony, as well as two counts of seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, misdemeanors, state police said. .
Savage was arrested and sent to the Saratoga County Jail. She has to come back to court later.
