Star Wars actor: Jar Jar Binks ready to take on the role

TheStar Warsfranchise hasn’t seen the infamous Jar Jar Binks since the end of the prequel trilogy, but not because actor Ahmed Best doesn’t want to revisit the character.

In response to a fan question, Best recently confirmed that he would be ready to replay Jar Jaronce, although he added, “It really depends on the story.”

The 1999 film by George Lucas,Star Wars: The Phantom Menace, introduced a host of new characters to the franchise, including Qui-Gon Jinn, Padm Amidala and Jar Jar Binks. While some characters became fan favorites, Jar Jar was a point of contention and his role was reduced compared to the two films that followed. Although there has been no sign of Jar Jar beyondEpisode III, Best is ready to fill the gaps in the next stage of the Gungan.
