Fantasia wishes she had been “really groomed” during her time on “American Idol.”
The 37-year-old star – who rose to fame when she won the singing competition as a teenager in 2004 – explained that because she was so young when she took part in the TV show, she “had really need” a team of people around to help him get started in the industry.
She said: “I was so young then, but I wish I had a team of people who really cared about me. Being so young and so green, knowing nothing about the industry, you really need a team of people who will show you the way and not just think about what they can get out of it.”
However, the ‘I Believe’ singer – who has released seven studio albums since winning ‘American Idol’ – admitted she wouldn’t change anything else about her time on the show, because it’s all made a difference. what she is today.

She said: “It’s been tough on set, it’s been funny on set, it’s been emotional on set, it’s been cold, it’s been hot.
