Actor Tyler Sanders dies aged 18

Tyler Sandersactor who received an Emmy nomination for his performance in the Prime Video series Just Add Magic: Mystery City, He died Thursday in Los Angeles.as his representative confirmed to the magazine Variety. Sanders, who was 18, was found dead at his home in the Californian city without being able to confirm the cause of his death.

Sanders began acting at the age of 10, starring in several short films. He landed his first major television role in 2017, when he starred in an episode of Fear the living dead, the famous AMC series. In his career, other roles on television also stand out, such as appearances in episodes of The recruitin 2018, and 9-1-1: Lone Staraired April 18.

In 2019, Sanders was also part of the final episode of the children’s fantasy series Just add magic. The series, based on the 2010 book by writer Cindy Callaghan, revolved around three friends who discover a mysterious cookbook full of cooking recipes with magical properties. In the latest episode, the girls passed the cookbook on to three new protectors: Leo (played by Sanders), Zoe (Jolie Hoang-Rappaport), and Ish (Jenna Qureshi).

The three actors will then star in a secondary series called Just Add Magic: Mystery City. In it, Sanders’ character used the cookbook to solve a mystery involving his half-sister Zoe’s paternity and ultimately save the world. Beyond television, Sanders also appeared in the 2019 film The dependent with Kevin Sorbo and, before his death, he participated in the filming of the tape The price we playstarring Stephen Dorff and directed by Ryhei Kitamura.
