Mythbusters host Adam Savage denies allegations of sexual abuse by his sister – Variety
A lawsuit has been launched against Adam Savage, the co-host of “Mythbusters”, alleging that he had sexually abused his sister when they were both young children.
The lawsuit was launched in New York by Miranda Pacchiana, who claims that Savage sexually assaulted her “repeatedly over the course of several years”, from the ages of seven and nine.
“As a child, this experience shattered my sense of security and destroyed my self-confidence. By spreading many false stories about us in search of a financial windfall, she tortured our whole family and moved away from us all. I will fight this baseless and offensive lawsuit and work to stop it once and for all, “said Savage in the statement.

Pacchiana host and mother Karen Savage also condemned the trial in a statement obtained from Brettler.
“It makes me very sad to say that, but my daughter has serious mental health issues, and it’s devastating that she is putting Adam and our whole family through it. Adam is a good man and I fully support him, ”she reads in her statement.
According to Pacchiana, who says she is suing under the New York Child Victims Act, she and her brother have not been in touch for more than two decades.
In the trial, which was obtained by the New York Post, Pacchiana alleges that Savage “repeatedly raped her” and forced her to have oral sex with him “, as well as other forms of sexual abuse”.
Savage is best known for hosting the Discovery Channel series, which aims to dispel popular myths, until it was canceled by the network in 2016.
