Kajol transforms into a cheerleader for her husband, Ajay Devgn as the latter received his third national award

Bollywood actor, Ajay Devgn and actress, Kajol are one of the cutest couples in B-town. The duo married on February 24, 1999 and are blessed with two children, Nysa Devgan and Yug Devgan. Married for 23 years, Ajay and Kajol played their roles as husband and wife and made us adore their soft romance. Their marriage is a perfect example of a beautiful union, based on pure love and affection.

In this beautiful journey, the couple had faced many ups and downs. But, they supported each other effortlessly. In many cases, we’ve seen the duo turn into cheerleaders for each other. And now a similar situation has been observed, when Ajay Devgn received his third national award in the category of best actor.

On September 30, 2022, Ajay Devgn won Best Actor for his hit movie, Tanhaji: the unsung hero. And to celebrate this beautiful moment, the proud wife, Kajol, took to her Instagram stories and shared a photo of her husband, Ajay, receiving the award from the President of India, Droupati Murmu. Expressing her happiness at her husband’s achievement, Kajol wrote:

“Winning two national awards and looking good is tough! @ajaydevgn.”

For the uninitiated, this is the third time that Ajay Devgn has won the national award for best actor. Previously, he won the Zakhm film award in 1998 and The legend of Bhagat Singh in 2002. Meanwhile, a few minutes ago, Ajay Devgn also took his IG handle and shared a video made up of the images and names of the films he had won national awards for. Above, he wrote a note, which can be read as follows:

“Not counting any wins or blessings, I just feel grateful for all of this. Most importantly your love. I share this win with all of you. Honored to receive my awards from the President of India, Smt. Draupadi Murmu. ”

Earlier, in a chat with Humans Of Bombay, Kajol opened up about her love affair with husband Ajay Devgn and shared how they fell in love with each other. The actress revealed that they had met on the set of their film, Hulchul, and soon they became friends. Moreover, she added that since they both dated loved ones, they never thought about being in a relationship with each other. However, after splitting up with their ex-partners, the duo fell in love with each other and started dating. Kajol said:

“We met 25 years ago, on the sets of Hulchul – I was ready for the shoot and asked, ‘Where’s my hero?’ Someone pointed the finger at him — he was sitting in the corner. So 10 minutes before I met him I bitched about him! We started talking on set and became friends. I was dating at the time and so was he — I even complained about my then boyfriend to him! Soon we both broke up with our loved ones. Neither of us proposed – it was understood that we were to be together. He went from holding hands to much more before we knew it! We used to go out to dinner and so many car rides – he lived in Juhu and I, in South Bombay, so half of our relationship was in the car! My friends warned me about him – he had a hell of a reputation. But he was different with me – that’s everything I knew.”
