Actor Rana Daggubati shares ‘worst experience with IndiGo’, airline apologizes

Actor Rana Daggubati today slammed Indigo after his ‘worst flight experience ever’.

Mr Daggubati was angered by the airline’s services and said IndiGo “has no idea of ​​flight times”, his “missing baggage” was not tracked and company staff airline has no idea.

The national airline responded to the actor’s tweet and apologized for the “discomfort” he felt when his luggage did not arrive.

“While we apologize for any inconvenience caused in the meantime, please rest assured that our team is actively working to get your luggage delivered to you at the earliest,” IndiGo said in its response to the Bahubali actor’s Tweet.

In another incident, a video is widely shared on Twitter showing two IndiGo baggage handlers carelessly unloading two boxes from the plane into a container.

IndiGo later clarified that customers’ luggage had not been mishandled and that the cartons contained non-fragile goods and were packaged in such a way as to “endure quick maneuvering”.

The airline has also come under scrutiny in the past for its services, in June actor Pooja Hegde reported rude behavior by an IndiGo staff.

Ms Hegde said the IndiGo manager used an “arrogant, ignorant and menacing tone for no reason”.

The airline has apologized to the actor and asked him to contact them.

In May, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) imposed a fine of Rs 5 lakh on IndiGo airlines for not allowing a boy with special needs to board a flight from Ranchi.

The refusal of IndiGo ground staff to allow the child to board has been widely criticized, prompting an investigation by the DGCA.
