It’s been two weeks since Todd Chrisley and his wife Julia were sentenced to 12 and 7 years in prison for federal crimes including tax evasion, wire fraud and tax evasion. I wanted to take a minute and first of all say thank you to all of our listeners who have reached out to me over the past few weeks about my family. I wanted to take a step back and start processing everything before speaking and making statements. The past few months have been extremely difficult for me and my family, and I am heartbroken by the updates to my parents’ case that occurred late last month, Lindsie said in the statement, which she will also share with her fans during the upcoming December 8 recording of her Cafe Convos podcast.

The statement continued, I know some media tried to twist my response to this and make it into something wrong, but in the end there is no tea here. I’m heartbroken and navigating this process the best way I know how. At the end of the day, this is real family, and these are real, raw emotions. That being said, thank you all for your love, support and prayers. It really means the world to my family and me.

On Nov. 30, Todd, 53, and Julie, 49, shared their thoughts on their mandatory 19-year prison sentences, handed down to them in Georgia federal court on Nov. 21 after being sentenced in June. Age is just a number, and since we don’t know our date of death, we have to live each day as if it were our last, Julie said on Chrisley’s Confessions podcast. Todd leaned on his faith and added, Yesterday doesn’t matter. Today, that’s what we have. Tomorrow belongs to God because tomorrow has not been promised. What God calls us, he will accompany us.

In 2012, Lindsie ran away with her ex-husband Will Campbell. That same year, they welcomed their son Jackson, 9, in the world. Over the next two years, Lindsie, who has a biological brother Kyle Chrisley31 years old, as well as half-siblings Savannah Chrisley25, chasing chrisley26 and Grayson Chrisley, 16 has had several minor falling outs with his famous family.
