Kanye West Launches New Song ‘Donda’ In Honor Of Mother’s Birthday

 


Kanye west posted a new song and video, ‘Donda’, on Twitter, named after her late mother and in honor of her birthday.

Donda West was born on July 12, 1949 and died at the end of November 2007 following complications from cosmetic surgery. His voice is very present in the new song, starting with a recording of his reciting lyrics from the 1993 sound of Da Police single from KRS-One.

“In memory of my amazing mom on her birthday,” West tweeted with the video. Hear it below.

This is the third song West has released in the past few weeks. He returned last month with the announcement of his tenth studio album, ‘God Country’, and the release of the album’s first single, ‘Wash Us In The Blood’, with Travis Scott. It is not known at the moment if “Donda” will also appear on the album.

In addition to “Wash Us In The Blood”, West is also featured on Ty Dolla $ ign’s latest single, “Ego Death”. The song recruited a wide range of collaborators, including FKA, serpentwithfeet and Skrillex twigs.

West recently announced that he will campaign for the President this year in an in-depth and broad interview with Forbes on his various policies and political positions.

In addition, the interview also featured a few free styles where West spoke to COVID-19, the Kardashian family, and Donald Trump.

Several celebrities have criticized West’s presidential campaign, including Katy Perry, Jamie Foxx and Will.I.Am.
