Kannada actor Sampath J Ram dies at 35
It has been suggested that the lack of work opportunities may have contributed to his decision, but no official statement has yet been released by his family or friends. His body was taken to a private hospital in Nelamangala and will then be transferred to his hometown of NR Pura for the final funeral rites.
Just a year ago, Sampath married his wife. Reports circulating indicate that he suffered from depression because he had not received the expected number of acting offers, which may have influenced his decision to take such a drastic step. His last rites are scheduled to take place on Sunday.
Vijay Suriya, Sampath’s co-star in Agnisakshi, revealed in an interview with ETimes that Sampath has been optimistic about getting good roles in the future. Another co-star, Rajesh Dhruva, expressed his grief on social media with a poignant message in Kannada which roughly translates to: “There are so many movies left, so many struggles to come and so much more to come. see on this stage. Please come back and make your dreams come true.”
Sampath J Ram was a well-known actor who had appeared in popular TV series like Agnisakshi and also made an impact in the critically acclaimed film Sri Balaji Photo Studio which was recently released.
