Superman Henry Cavill becomes Wolverine's successor to Hugh Jackman in an impressive new concept.
Currently, no one knows when Henry Cavill will return as Superman despite the fact that the actor is adamant: the role is still his. With DC Extended Universe revamping its list of movies and characters to focus, it doesn't look like Henry Cavill will be back as Superman anytime soon. We can imagine that it is difficult for Henry Cavill to go about his business knowing that he will not be able to scratch the itchy superheroes that Superman provided him with, which is why he would fit the Wolverine role perfectly now that Hugh Jackman has left the role.
Hugh Jackman withdrew from the role of Wolverine with the Logan, ending his almost two-decade tenure as a mutant with grace. Now that Disney owns Fox and is set to integrate X-Men characters into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it's hard not to imagine that they'll bring Wolverine back to the fore. With Hugh Jackman gone, the role of Wolverine still remains vacant, with many actors being nominated for the role. Henry Cavill, the actor of Superman, is one of the main stars named by the fans for the role of Wolverine. An awesome concept from digital artist "ApexForm" on Instagram shows what Henry Cavill might look like when replacing Hugh Jackman as Wolverine. You can check out the illustration below.
In the work, Superman actor Henry Cavill powerfully exudes the same energy and charisma that Hugh Jackman wore as Wolverine for almost twenty years. Henry Cavill also vibrates the beard that Wolverine is frequently seen sporting in comics and movies. On his left cheek, the actor Superman has a cut that gives us a cheeky look on his adamantium skull.
We don't really know if Superman actor Henry Cavill will take on the role of Wolverine, especially because Hugh Jackman left such big shoes to fill. That being said, Henry Cavill has repeatedly shown that he is one of the most powerful working actors today and that he would likely embody Wolverine.
Marvel Studios confirmed its intention to include mutants in the Marvel Cinematic Universe during its 2019 San Diego Comic-Con presentation. However, the studio would be in no rush to introduce the X-Men to the MCU, which means it will likely take some time before they learn who will replace Hugh Jackman as Wolverine.
