The Yellowstone actor’s son and former high school football star is heading to TCU

The son of one Yellowstone The actor will be attending TCU, and there’s a chance he’ll join the Horned Frogs football team.

Ryland Hauser, Cole Hauser’s son, travels to Fort Worth to continue his studies at TCU, according to his father, Cole. Young Hauser was drafted as a tight end by Division I schools in Mississippi State and Indiana.

Hauser played high school football in Jensen Beach, Florida. According to recruiting service websites, Hauser ranges from 6-4 to 6-5 and 215-225 pounds.

Hauser was clocked at 4.65 seconds in the 40-yard dash at Mississippi State over the summer, according to Treasure Coast News. Hauser also received recruiting interest from Texas A&M and northern Alabama. As of Monday, he is not listed on recruiting sites that track TCU. The school’s sports information office had no record of his team affiliation.

Messages to Ryland and his dads on social media went unreturned. The news also contacted 101 Studios in Beverly Hills, which oversees the production of Yellowstone.

Hausers’ father is chosen for the Rip Wheeler ranch in Taylor Sheridans Yellowstone. Cole Hauser appeared with Sheridan to sign autographs at the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo in February.

Cole Hauser is also known for his roles in the movie shot in Austin Dazed and confused (1993) and 2 Fast 2 Furious (2003). Recently, Hauser told the WFAA that he almost moved to the Fort Worth area, but my wife [Cynthia Daniel] banned him from staying in Florida.

Young Hauser said Treasure Coast News that he’s heard of cynics who say his offers have more to do with his last name than his abilities.

Sometimes it bothers me, he says. I am still young. I keep growing and it partly bothers me. It’s my hard work that I put in. Somebody say that (makes me angry). I’m starting to improve and the most important thing is to be confident on the pitch.

Hauser said his father had his inheritance.

But it’s about what I want to do and create my own legacy and my own path, he said. He did it in a way. I want to create in a different way than our family has ever done before.
