Chuck E. Cheese spends $1.55 million on improvements in Arizona

Chuck E. Cheese has invested $1.55 million in physical infrastructure, programming and staffing at five “entertainment centers” in Arizona, as part of an ongoing national effort to improve the brand nationwide.

Nearly 300 renovated and refreshed Chuck E. Cheese recreation centers across the country held reopening festivities. The company is rolling out the events to highlight improvements and changes, including new games, all-you-can-eat promotions, menu changes and more.

The company has Valley locations at 2977 W. Frye Road in Chandler; 13371 W. McDowell Road in Goodyear; 8039 N. 35th Ave. in Phoenix; and 6773 W. Bell Road in Glendale.

“This investment reflects our strong belief in Arizona, our strategic engine for long-term sustainable growth, and will allow us to meet the changing demands of our customers,” said David McKillips, president and CEO of CEC Entertainment, LLC, parent company of Chuck E. Cheese, in a statement. “We will continue to deliver innovative entertainment that provides a wholesome, exciting and fun experience for families with young children.”

The investment is intended to solidify the company’s position as a player in Arizona’s family entertainment industry and spur innovation that will benefit customers, employees and the community at large.

The company has focused on financing infrastructure development, product and menu innovation and training and recruiting staff, officials said.
