World leader in video games makes “avant-garde” move from El Segundo to Hollywood
In a forward-thinking, forward-thinking move to the market, video game maker Com2uShas has signed a long-term lease that will relocate its North American headquarters from El Segundo to Hollywood. The global leader in mobile gaming, popular for hit games such as Summoners War and MLB 9 Innings, has leased approximately 12,000 square feet at Kilroy Realtys Sunset Media Center.
Cushman & Wakefield executive managing director Greg Lovett represented Com2uS. JLL's Peter Hajimihalis, Dana Vargas and Hayley Blockley are handling the leasing of the property on Kilroy's behalf. A special ribbon-cutting ceremony is also planned to welcome Com2uS to the city of Hollywood.
This is a major strategic move and a market-leading, forward-thinking initiative by Com2uS, which has been based in El Segundo for a decade, Lovett said. “Traditionally, most major video game publishers in the Greater Los Angeles area have not been located in Hollywood; they are positioning themselves in cities like El Segundo, Santa Monica and Culver City for a variety of reasons. In fact, besides Com2Us, there is only one other major game developer/publisher located in Hollywood today.
