Chris Hemsworth gets a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame

Angels [US]May 24 (ANI): Actor Chris Hemsworth received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

The “Thor” star received the star Thursday in the presence of his family and actor Robert Downey Jr.

Downey paid tribute to Hemsworth as he received his star on Hollywood Boulevard. Downey brought with him a list of “roasts” of their other Marvel partners, each describing him in three words, according to PEOPLE.

“First of all, [Jeremy] Renner calls it “absurdly and boringly unbelievable.” [Mark] Ruffalo came out strong with “Friend of Work.” It's a reminder, now I get it,” Downey Jr. said to a crowd that also included Hemsworth's Furiosa: Mad Max Saga director George Miller, his co-star Anya Taylor-Joy and Hemsworth's family.

He continued: “Scarlett [Johansson] I got to the heart of the matter with “the sensitive leading lady”. Captain America [Chris Evans] calls him “Chris the second best”. “Hemsworth and Downey played two of the Avengers' main superheroes, Thor and Iron Man respectively, alongside Evans, 42, Johansson, 39, Renner, 53, and Ruffalo, 56. Hemsworth most recently starred as Thor in 2022's Love and Thunder.

“Chris is a little intimidating to describe. It is very elusive because of the pretty packaging. However, upon closer inspection, he has a true blue mind and depth of soul, and it has been my sincere pleasure to know you for many years,” Downey said in his speech. “You keep us Hollywood people on our toes because you’re just a real guy.”

Chris also posed for photos with his wife, Elsa Pataky, and their three children – daughter India Rose and twins Sasha and Tristan.

The Hollywood Walk of Fame is an iconic Los Angeles attraction that features the names of stars to honor their achievements in the entertainment industry.
