Hong Kong actor Roger Kwok denies intentionally leaving ex-wife, 15 years his junior, without assets after divorce

Actor Roger Kwok, 60, claimed that he and his 45-year-old ex-wife, Hong Kong actress Cindy Au, had agreed to divide property after their divorce, dispelling rumors that which their separation was acrimonious.

According to Sinchon, during a press event for his latest film, Kwok dismissed accusations that he transferred shares of the healthcare company he started to his sister before her divorce. He called the claims “false rumors” intended to suggest he intended to deprive Au of any assets.

“Cindy Au and I have already resolved these matters and agreed to property arrangements before our separation, so there should be no concerns,” he commented, further noting that as public figures, he and Au are no strangers to being the subject of rumors.

Kwok mentioned that he and Au decided to go public with their separation last month because it was “the appropriate time.” He added that the two children from their marriage now live with him and all three share a good understanding and relationship.

“I constantly express my love to my children,” he noted. “In an environment of harmony, I believe the bond only grows stronger.”

Kwok claimed that her children were informed of her divorce from Aus and had adapted to the new circumstances. He plans to send his eldest son to England for higher education soon.

Additionally, Kwok said that he and his ex-wife remain friends and maintain a positive relationship.

Kwok is a famous TVB actor, well known for his roles in “Lin Shing Kuet” and “Black Heart White Soul”. He stands out as one of the selected actors who have won the Best Actor award at the TVB Anniversary Awards three times.

Au initially began her career as a singer before transitioning to acting, gaining recognition for her role in “Journey to the West II.”

The couple was together for seven years before getting married in 2006.
