Youngblood Vineyard to host Advancing Macomb Summer Soiree – Macomb Daily
Advancing Macomb will present its 8th annual Summer Evening from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., June 12 at Youngblood Vineyard in Ray Township.
The event, which has become an annual summer gathering for Advancing Macomb, its partners, supporters and the community, provides an opportunity to celebrate the organization's past successes, key partnerships and recent accomplishments while helping to support the work future.
Among the recent accomplishments of the nonprofit organization that mobilizes resources to solve community challenges and enrich the lives of Macomb County residents is the appointment of its new executive director, Phil Gilchrist.
“Summer Soiree is a way for us to connect with the community and share our vision for Advancing Macomb,” Gilchrist said.
Another new thing this year: the location.
For the first time, the summer evening will take place at Youngblood Vineyard, which was voted “Best Vineyard” by Hour Detroit in 2020 and 2021. Youngblood Vineyard offers a wine tasting venue with stunning vineyard views and a authentic wood-fired pizza, offering the perfect setting for a summer event.
Presented by collabPEO, this year's event features entertainment from Dylan Sherman and The Low End.
Event sponsors for the nonprofit organization that works to solve community challenges and enrich the lives of local residents are First State Bank, Consumers Energy and GJC CPA/Advisors.
Tickets for the event are $35.
This includes entertainment and a great opportunity to network among members and guests, as well as a wonderful combination of two glasses of Youngblood Vineyard wine and wood-fired pizza.
Online ticket sales at advancingmacomb.com end June 10, but tickets will also be available at the door the day of the event for $40.
