New Delhi: Kartik Aaryan is on the rise with his hit horror-comedy 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2' which opened the lucky gate of Bollywood's box office post COVID-19. Kartik has since then been a part of films on OTT and in theaters and has received much acclaim and appreciation for his performances and a fandom that continues to see only an ever-growing peak.

As the star awaits the release of his upcoming film 'Chandu Champion', Kartik sat down for an interview with Lallantop where he spoke about his journey, his upcoming film and his release of 'Dostana 2'.

When the interviewer asked Aaryan about a campaign against him in Bollywood that followed him after his exit from Karan Johan-backed 'Dostana 2', Kartik said, “You see, it was a very old conversation. Sometimes he communicates very poorly and sometimes his writing is disproportionate and especially when he writes, he makes more sound..”(This news is quite outdated now. Often there is a miscommunication or something out of proportion, especially when something is written and it sounds completely different).

When Kartik Aaryan was asked to shed light on what really happened, the 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2' actor delayed his response and shared that he never spoke about it. Saying that when the incident occurred, “The main tab was also silent and now also I am silent on a bat, I only do 100 pratishat kam, but whenever such news comes or controversy arises, I stay in my shell, I stay quiet. Hand one, I'm very busy in cheese, and I don't get much out of trying.“(I was silent when the news broke and I choose to remain silent even now. I am 100% focused on my work and when controversies of this nature arise, I remain calm about them. I do not don't involve much in them and I have nothing to prove to anyone by getting involved).

Kartik also spoke about his upcoming film 'Chandu Champion' and his experience working on the project.

Kartik Aaryan will be seen in Kabir Khan's 'Chandu Champion'.

'Chandu Champion' is a biographical sports action drama inspired by the true story of Murlikant Petlar, India's first Paralympic gold medalist. Kartik Aaryan underwent a major physical training and transformation for the film.

The film also stars Bhuvan Arora, Yashpal Sharma, Vijay Raaz, Aniruddh Dave and Palak Lalwani.

“Chandu Champion” will release on June 17, 2024.
