Heeramandi Taha Actor Shah Badussha Reveals He Ran Behind Karan Johar's Car: He Was Kind To | Bollywood News

While the actor Taha Shah Badussha became the new blue-eyed boy of Bollywood after his performance as Tajdar Baloch in Heeramandi, the young actor had to face an intense struggle before getting his big break.

In an interview with The Week, Taha talked about bagging a movie after chasing Karan JoharThe car in the street. The actor also revealed if quitting films was an option for him.

For those who don't know, Taha Shah Badussha made her acting debut with Shraddha Kapoor in Luv Ka The End. After that, he starred in the film Gippi. Although these projects did not bring him recognition, his stint in the web series Taj and later in Heeramandi made him the talk of B-town. Talking about the same, Taha told The Week how he chased Karan Johar's car, “After the film YRF (Luv Ka The End) finished, I went out and started networking, it's that's how I got Gippi. I ran after Karan Johar sir's car and hit his car saying I just got a movie I want to show it to you please give me your number. He was kind enough to give me his number and ask me if I was okay. He offered me water and that’s how I met him for the first time. Later, I went to his office and auditioned for Gippi.

The actor even revealed that during his journey so far, if he had ever considered leaving the film industry when roles weren't coming his way. Taha said: “I never thought I would leave this industry and go somewhere else or do something else. I don't know anything other than acting. I thought about networking, meeting people, taking classes, and working harder on myself.

Taha Shah's dedication to Heeramandi has been in the news a lot. Recently, the casting director of the show, Shruti Mahajan, also spoke about how Taha kept constantly looking for a role in the Sanjay Leela Bhansali show. In fact, he had auditioned for a smaller role and was rejected. And just when he was discouraged, he was offered to play one of the lead roles in Heeramandi.
