Free Concerts Bring Live Entertainment to Metroparks All Summer Long

MACOMB COUNTY, Michigan (FOX 2) – Spend time outside listening to live music at Huron-Clinton Metroparks this summer.

Free concerts scheduled for Sundays at Lake St. Clair Metropark and select Tuesdays at Stony Creek Metropark will bring a variety of genres to the parks.

The Lake St. Clair concerts will take place at the Thomas Welch Activities Center from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m., and the Stony Creek shows will take place from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Eastwood Beach.

Although the concerts are free, a metropark pass is required to access the parks and attend the shows.

Metropark pass prices

An annual pass allows you access to all 13 parks for a year, while daily passes are available for those who aren't ready to commit to an annual pass or only want to visit one or two times.

Most people have to pay to enter metroparks by vehicle. Disabled veterans with a DV license plate are the exception; they benefit from free entry.

Daily Passes

Daily passes cost $10 per vehicle and $10 per boat trailer.

Metroparks offer an exchange program that allows you to exchange daily passes for an annual pass.

Redeeming one to three daily passes gets you $10 to $30 off an annual pass, while four daily passes can be redeemed for an annual pass.
