Salman Khan attends Amol Kales' funeral in Mumbai amid tight security and pays his respects. See photos, videos | Bollywood News

Bollywood actor Salman Khan paid his last respects to the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) president. Amol Kale at his funeral Wednesday. Kale died Monday after suffering a heart attack in New York.

Salman arrived at the funeral amid tight security. Along with Salman, Sonu Sood and Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde also attended the funeral.

Amol Kale had watched the India vs Pakistan match live from the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York with the MCA office bearers on Sunday evening. Kale was in New York with MCA secretary Ajinkya Naik and Apex Council member Suraj Samat.

Salman has been roaming under tight security since the shooting incident at his residence in Bandra on April 14. Several defendants have been arrested since the attack. The actor and his brother Arbaaz Khan recorded their statements in connection with the case on Wednesday.

On the professional front, Salman is currently shooting for his upcoming film Sikander. Directed by AR Murugadoss, it also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Suniel Shetty and Prateik Patil Babbar in key roles. He was last seen in Tiger 3, starring Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi.
